MIDWEEK FELLOWSHIP MEAL

Join us for our Midweek Meal each Wednesday in the Gym from 5-6 pm.  Fellowship with those you know and meet new friends!  Invite someone new! Dinner is $5/adults and $3/child (10 & under).

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY ON REVELATION

Central Men – join us on Monday evenings from 6-7:30 pm in Room 191/192 for a Bible Study on the Book of Revelation.  We meet every Monday, except on when there is a holiday. FALL EQUIP CLASSES – SIGN UP NOW!

It's time to kick off our new semester of Equip Classes on Wednesday, August 5!  This year we will be offering 6 class options.  Each class will run from 6:15-7:15 pm, unless otherwise noted. SENIOR ADULT CHOIR

Central Seniors – if you love to lift up your voice in praise and worship, then you need to join our Senior Adult Choir!  We will be meeting to practice every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 10-11 am in the Choir Suite on the 2nd Floor.  On 4th Tuesdays, you will be done in time for OASIS.  Looking forward to seeing you!

CENTRAL WORSHIP
STUDENT CHOIR & ORCHESTRA LAUNCH

Central Students – if you love to sing, play an instrument, or want to use your musical gifts to lead others in worship, we'd love for you to join the Central Worship Student Choir & Orchestra!

This new ministry is designed for students who have a heart for worship and a desire to grow musically, spiritually, and in community with one another. Together we'll prepare to lead in worship through special events and worship services while building friendships and developing our God-given talents.

Regular Schedule:
Every other Sunday beginning TODAY
11:45 AM (immediately following the 10:30 AM worship service)

Lunch will be provided, followed by rehearsal. Please register through Church Center so we can prepare lunch for everyone attending.

AUGUST O.A.S.I.S.
(Older Adults Staying In Scripture)

Join us for O.A.S.I.S., a monthly gathering designed especially for senior adults to enjoy fellowship, encouragement, and time in God’s Word. We meet at 11:00 AM on the 4th TUESDAY of each month (except June, November, and December).

This month we’re excited to have our own Dr. Clay Layfield as our featured guest. 

A lunch will be available for $5 per person, so come hungry and ready for great conversation and spiritual refreshment.

5TH SUNDAY FOOD DRIVE

On each 5th Sunday, we collect non-perishable food items along with other much needed supplies for our local Rehoboth Baptist Association Food Pantry (located at the Christian Social Ministries building on Watson Blvd.).  Please bring Canned and Pre-Packaged Food – especially Baby Food & Formula – along with other very needed items they hand out: Toilet Paper, Laundry Detergent, Dish Soap, Bath Soap, Toothbrushes & Toothpaste, Shampoo & Conditioner. When you bring your donation items to church, designated areas will be set up around the church for collection.  Thank you for your help!

LABOR DAY FAMILY WORSHIP

Join us as we gather as a family for worship with the whole family!
Life Groups will not meet, but there will be Bible Study for ages 5 & Under.

YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY

LADIES THURSDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY

HONDURAS MEDICAL MISSION TRIP NEEDS

Each year Dr. Steve Wilson takes a medical missions team to Honduras. On this trip they take as many supplies as room allows. At this point, we now only need PLAIN MULTIVITAMINS (no gummies please) that they can give to the Honduran people who come to the medical clinic. We've collected what we need for Glasses (THANK YOU!!) Please drop off donations in the nook just off the main lobby by August 23. Thank you for your help! 

SENIOR ADULT HOMECOMING RETREAT
RESERVE YOUR SPOT NOW!

The Fall 2026 Senior Adult Homecoming Retreat is a three-day, two-night event designed for adults aged 55 and older, taking place from October 26–28, 2026, at the Epworth by the Sea Conference Center on St. Simons Island, Georgia. Hosted by music evangelist and concert pianist Jeff Cleghorn, the retreat is often described by attendees as a "refreshing revival" or an old-fashioned camp meeting.  Special guests will be: Dr. Ted Traylor, Retreat Pastor; The Mark Trammell Quartet, Southern Gospel at its Finest; and The Sound, Father/Sons Country Gospel Trio.  CBC members need to register through Church Center or by calling 478-953-9319 by April 23 – spots fill up very quickly!  A $50 Deposit is required at time of reservation.  For more information, click HERE.

• Monday, Oct. 26: Check-in begins (typically starts at 4:00 PM).
• Tuesday, Oct. 27: Full day of programming starting at 8:30 AM.
• Wednesday, Oct. 28: Final sessions and departure after breakfast or lunch (sessions begin at 8:30 AM).

HELPING HANDS MINISTRY NEEDS SHEETS

Helping Hands is a Central Baptist Ministry whose members meet monthly to make special pads for those being cared for by Heart of Georgia Hospice.  Used, clean donated sheets are trimmed of all seams, elastic or decorative trim and then cut to be layered and hand-sewn to regular hospital medical pads to provide a more comfortable and much softer surface against the skin during care.  Once finished, the pads are bagged in bundles of 12 with a card of encouragement.  Our volunteers average 12 dozen bundles of pads at each monthly meeting.  Work areas are set up in stations for each phase of the process and provides wonderful fellowship for all involved.  YOU can help by joining us — we LOVE having new volunteers! — or by donating clean, used sheets.  Helping Hands meets from 1-3 pm on the 1st Monday of each month, unless it's a holiday — and then we will meet on the following Monday.  No meeting in December.  If you would like more information, please call Katty Adkins at 478-919-0124.  Please leave sheet donations in the Church Office.

Just recently our church family voted with a 91.5% to affirm our Planning and Vision Team's proposal to build a new and expanded worship center that will help us accomodate the phonomenal growth we've had this year!  We owe all the glory to God for growing our congregation!  Let us unite as the body of Christ in order to continue the work He's given us to do as a church family to spread the Gospel and disciple His sheep.  How can you help in this endeavor?  First, be in fervent prayer for the Lord to guide you in how He would have you respond to this opportunity.  Second, if God is leading and equipping you to give financially, there are several ways you can do this. Veterans Memorial Campaign

This memorial is dedicated by the grateful members of Central Baptist Church
to preserve and honor the memory of our brave men and women
who have so selflessly served our great nation in times of peace and conflict.

We are now accepting donations to the Veterans Memorial Campaign. Donations can be made directly to Central Baptist by cash, check, credit card or online payment.  If you have any questions, please call the Church Office at 478-953-9319.

If you would like to purchase a brick to honor or memorialize your loved ones who have served our country, please review the information below.   To order, please click HERE to order online (preferred) or paper order forms will be available in the Church Office.  

• The Veterans Memorial will have a walkway made up of personalized engraved bricks. All bricks will be placed randomly throughout the walkway.
  
  
• Each brick may be engraved with up to three lines of print. Each line accommodates up to 15 characters with a service seal or up to 20 characters without a service seal, counting punctuation and spaces as characters.
  
  
• Price per brick is $100 without a service seal or $110 with a service seal.
  
  
• The Veterans Memorial Committee reserves the right to not accept messages that are deemed not in alignment with the goals of this project.
