Providing Ongoing Support To Our Church Planting Partners

The Missionary Care Team is an expression of our church's commitment to support those who are working to advance the Gospel globally. They function to help the missionary succeed in his ministry and function as his representatives to the Central Baptist church body. There are 4 components.

Care Team Roles

1. Care Team Leader
2. Prayer Coordinator
3. Furlough Coordinator
4. Physical Needs Coordinator

Care Team Leader

The Care Team Leader oversees the team and maintains communications between the missionary and our pastoral staff.

Prayer Coordinator

This is the person who has primary contact with the church missionary through email and video chats. The coordinator will then relay all information and prayer requests to the Care Team Leader.

Furlough Coordinator

When the missionary comes home for a visit, the Furlough Coordinator will help with mobliize the Care Team to ensure that he and his family have approriate lodging, travel accomodations, etc.

Physical Needs Manager

This person will ensure that the missionary is receiving everything he and his family need while on the mission field and that Go Teams are given supplies to take to him before they leave to provide in-person support. Both of these efforts will be coordinated with the Care Team Leader.
