Mission work is who we are ... not just something we do. As followers of Christ, our most fundamental and important purpose is making disciples of Jesus.

Jesus said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded to you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

Mercy Hill Church, the church plant in Kennesaw, is calling for prayer partners to join in praying for the work that is being done by its ministry team:  Brandon & Kristen Nichols and Mitchell & Heather Bagley. As the sending church, Central has committed to support Mercy Hill, including by establishing a prayer team that will be in prayer for the church’s needs.

Become a part of this exciting new work by visiting their new website,, and joining the prayer team.  Become a member of the prayer team by contacting Central and letting us know you want to be a part.   You can also connect with them on Facebook:

Honduras Missions Trip

Each year Dr. Steve Wilson leads a multi-task mission trip to Central America. For the past number of years we have concentrated on two different areas of Honduras. Our team partners with the Rice Foundation, a group committed to sharing the Faith and Love of Jesus Christ in Honduras. We concentrate on improving health care, education, and the quality of life in Honduras. Hunger, filthy water, a high infant-mortality rate, and illiteracy are all prominent throughout that region. Our team of medical and logistics folks participate in a week-long medical clinic, construction/improvement of living and educational facilities, and children's ministry. There are always opportunities for new people to join this group and we always receive the greater blessing by going in His name.
